The air at the Jolshiri Convention Center was filled with a sense of purpose and community on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Save The Orphan and Poor (STOP) hosted its “Donor Member Conference 2026,” bringing together local and international supporters, advisors, and executive members to celebrate humanitarian achievements and chart a path for the future.
An Elegant Commencement
The event began at 11:30 AM with a warm welcome for our distinguished guests. Following the tradition of our values, the formal proceedings commenced with a soulful recitation from the Holy Quran by Mufti Md. Imran Hossain.
The General Secretary, Md. Atahar, set the tone for the day with a welcoming address, emphasizing the collective power of kindness.
Global Solidarity
One of the most inspiring segments of the morning featured our international donor members. Joining us virtually and in spirit:

Their speeches highlighted that the mission of STOP transcends borders, uniting the Bangladeshi diaspora in a shared goal of uplifting the underprivileged.
Digital Transformation: Launching the STOP Website
A major highlight of the conference was the official unveiling of the STOP Website. This digital portal, inaugurated by Advisor Mr. Azizur Rahman, marks a new era of transparency and global outreach for the organization.

After a lunch and Zohr prayer break, the afternoon session focused on accountability and impact. A 10-minute video projection, presented by member Kamrul Hasan Babu, showcased the transformative activities STOP has undertaken over the last three years. This was supported by a detailed report on past operations by Joint General Secretary Md. Toufiqul Islam.

The conference concluded with a vote of thanks from Chief Advisor Major Saif Al-Amin, followed by the distribution of tokens of appreciation (gifts) to our guests.
